Best SEO & AEO Agencies for SaaS Losing Traffic to AI Overviews (2026)

Ten SEO and AEO agencies for SaaS companies losing organic traffic to Google AI Overviews in 2026, with the AI Overviews work each one sells, the proof on its own site, what ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews name for the question, and prices where the agency publishes them.

The 10 agencies, ranked

In the table and below, "the AI Overviews question" means the prompt "Our organic traffic is dropping because of AI Overviews. What agency can help a SaaS company adapt?", as answered by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Peec AI logged 31 dated answers to it from each engine between 2 and 30 September 2026 (three on 2 September, then one a day), 93 in all, and every count below is out of that engine's 31 answers.

"Not published" means we found no agency price on the site on 30 September 2026. We checked previsible.com/plans/, which names Contracted, Integrated and Dedicated plans without dollar figures; the seerinteractive.com sitemap and homepage; and the directiveconsulting.com sitemap, where the one price listed is for a do-it-yourself course. For Siege Media, the $8,000 is the content marketing minimum on siegemedia.com/services/content-marketing; we found no GEO price on its GEO and SaaS GEO pages or on siegemedia.com/seo/pricing, a general guide to what SEO costs.

Quick picks by situation

  • AI Overviews visibility measured per prompt, every week: LoudFace. LoudFace's AI Overviews service reports per-prompt visibility and average cited position in AI Overviews every week, and LoudFace engagements start from $5k/mo, scoped on the intro call.
  • Top-funnel content traffic hit by AI search: Siege Media. The Zapier case study from Siege Media says AI search had a heavy impact on Zapier's top-funnel content, and that Zapier consistently appears in AI Overviews as a reliable source of information.
  • SEO, GEO and content from one team: Omniscient Digital. The Convert case study from Omniscient Digital reports: "In just 60 days, Convert's LLM visibility grew 81% and their AI citations saw a 140% increase."
  • A three-month start on AI search: SimpleTiger. The GEO Jumpstart from SimpleTiger costs $4,000 a month for a 3-month engagement, and SimpleTiger's Gainsight case study lists search momentum eroding against AI Overviews as its first problem.
  • AEO and GEO bought as their own engagement: PipeRocket Digital. PipeRocket Digital's standalone AEO and GEO engagements start at $5,000 a month, on its AI page.
  • A service built only for AI Overviews: MADX Digital. MADX Digital runs a dedicated AI Overview Optimization Services for SaaS page, and the AI search plans from MADX start from $3,500 a month on a 12-month term.
  • Mid-market and enterprise SaaS: Previsible. Previsible serves mid-market and enterprise teams, and the Coursera result from Previsible was a 52% lift in resource-page clicks in three months.

Losing traffic to AI Overviews is a different problem from losing rankings

When a Google AI Overview sits above your result, you can hold your position and still lose the click. Pew Research Center tracked the browsing of 900 U.S. adults in March 2025 and found that users who saw an AI summary clicked a traditional search result in 8% of visits, against 15% of visits when no summary appeared. In Pew's study, 18% of all Google searches produced an AI summary.

Ahrefs, comparing December 2023 with December 2025 on desktop Search Console data, found that an AI Overview in the results now correlates with a 58% lower average clickthrough rate for the top-ranking page; its first study, March 2024 against March 2025, had put the drop at 34.5%. The September 2025 update from Seer Interactive, covering 3,119 informational terms across 42 client organizations from June 2024 to September 2025, measured organic CTR on AI Overview queries falling from 1.76% to 0.61%, a 61% decline.

The trend is not one straight line down. Seer Interactive's 2026 update, across 53 brands and 5.47M queries from January 2025 to February 2026, found organic CTR on queries with an AI Overview climbing from a floor of 1.3% in December 2025 to 2.4% in February 2026, still below queries without one. Google's own position, from Liz Reid, VP, Head of Google Search, in a post of 6 August 2025, is that total organic click volume from Google Search to websites has been relatively stable year over year, with traffic shifting between sites. That counts all clicks across the web, while the Pew, Ahrefs and Seer figures count clicks per query or per top result, so your site can still be one of the losers.

Which pages take the hit also depends on intent. In the same Seer Interactive 2026 study, informational queries showed an AI Overview 36% of the time, commercial queries 8% and transactional queries 5%. Semrush, across more than 10 million keywords, found the informational share of AI Overview queries falling from 91.3% in January 2025 to 57.1% in October 2025, so AI Overviews are moving into commercial, transactional and navigational searches too. For SaaS comparison pages, Seer Interactive's 2026 study found that "Comparison queries are your highest-risk category": 95.4% of the "X vs Y" informational queries it tracked showed an AI Overview.

How to tell whether AI Overviews caused your drop

Start in Search Console. Google Search Central says clicks and impressions from AI features are counted inside the Performance report under the Web search type, and that the best practices for SEO remain relevant for AI features. Google's Search Generative AI performance reports, a separate Search Console view rolled out to all websites by 31 August 2026, report impressions, pages, countries, devices and dates, with no click metric listed. So you can see where your pages appear in AI features, and you infer the click loss from CTR on the same queries.

The pattern to look for is a falling CTR on queries where your average position held and an AI Overview now shows; confirm the AI Overview on the live results page or in a rank tracker's SERP-feature data. If position fell, you have a ranking problem. If impressions fell across the board, demand or seasonality moved. ChatGPT gives buyers the same warning on the AI Overviews question; its answer of 6 September 2026 told them: "don't assume all of your traffic decline is caused by AI Overviews."

Recovery work then has two halves. The first is getting your pages cited inside the AI Overview: in Seer Interactive's 2026 study, being cited in the AI Overview delivered 120% more organic clicks per impression than not being cited. The second is moving effort toward the commercial pages that AI Overviews touch less and that tie to pipeline. Our SEO survival playbook covers the moves for a traffic drop, and our guide to Google AI Overviews optimization covers the page work.

How we chose

On 30 September 2026 we read all 93 answers to the AI Overviews question dated 2 to 30 September 2026, 31 from each engine, and counted every agency each answer names in its text. We pulled the Google results for "ai overviews agency for saas" and seven variants through DataForSEO. For each agency we opened its own site: the homepage, its AI search and AI Overviews pages, its case studies and its pricing, with every pricing page rendered in a browser. All ten meet three tests. Each sells SEO on its own site. Each shows AI Overviews work on its own site, either a service page that names Google AI Overviews or a case study that reports an AI Overviews result. And at least one of the three engines named each of them in those 93 answers. Client names below are spelled as each agency's site spells them, and each figure is the agency's own claim.

The 10 agencies in detail

1. LoudFace: best for SaaS teams that want AI Overviews measured weekly, per prompt

LoudFace is a full-stack organic growth agency for B2B SaaS: one program across SEO, AEO and GEO, content and the site itself, on a single retainer. LoudFace's Google AI Overviews service works from how Google builds those answers: from the Google Search index, with no separate AI ranking system to optimize for. The service makes your pages retrievable and quotable for the fan-out queries those answers are built from, then reports per-prompt visibility and average cited position in AI Overviews every week. At LoudFace, kickoff is within 48 hours of signature; in week one, technical fixes ship and the first calibration articles are drafted and reviewed with you, so you see shipped progress within five days.

On the AI Overviews question itself, over 2 to 30 September 2026, ChatGPT named LoudFace in 17 of its 31 answers (54.8%), from 10 September onward. Perplexity and Google AI Overviews named LoudFace in none of their 31 answers each.

Across our own category, the reading is wider. On the 141 non-branded agency-search prompts we track for SEO, AEO and GEO agencies for B2B SaaS, over 18 to 28 September 2026, LoudFace was named in 38.8% of ChatGPT answers, 14.3% of Google AI Overviews answers and 11.2% of Perplexity answers, and in 21.5% of answers across all tracked engines, 3rd of 53 brands tracked. LoudFace was also Toku's growth partner over an engagement of roughly 18 months, and took Toku to 97.8% visibility on its category's top stablecoin payroll prompt, a 30-day Peec AI reading ending 19 August 2026.

Where they shine: LoudFace reports Google AI Overviews on its own weekly per-prompt reading, so you see which buyer questions moved rather than one blended number.

Best for: SaaS teams that want AI Overviews work inside the same program as their SEO and content. LoudFace's pricing page says engagements start from $5k/mo, scoped on the intro call.

Not the best fit: companies that want a guaranteed AI Overview citation, which LoudFace's AI Overviews service page lists under who it is not for.

2. Siege Media: best for content-led SaaS losing top-funnel traffic

Siege Media's homepage headline reads "Full-service GEO." Its SaaS GEO page says Siege earns the mentions and citations "that appear in ChatGPT, Claude, AI Overviews, and beyond." Ross Hudgens is Siege Media's founder and CEO.

The Zapier case study from Siege Media describes the impact of AI search: "AI search had a heavy impact on their top-funnel content, which had historically been a really strong traffic driver." Zapier, whose homepage title reads "Automate AI Workflows, Agents, and Apps", consistently appears in AI Overviews as a reliable source of information, according to the same Siege Media case study. Over "the first two years of the engagement with Siege Media", the Zapier case study reports a $7.2 million increase in traffic value to the blog and a 290% increase in monthly organic traffic to the site, with content marketing, SEO and digital PR as the services provided.

On the AI Overviews question, ChatGPT named Siege Media in 5 of its 31 answers over 2 to 30 September 2026.

Where they shine: The Zapier case study from Siege Media names an AI search hit on top-funnel content and reports Zapier appearing in AI Overviews.

Best for: SaaS teams whose content library used to drive top-funnel traffic and who want content, SEO and digital PR from one agency, with GEO alongside. The GEO page from Siege Media says its GEO services fit brands "already investing in SEO, content, or brand".

Not the best fit: content marketing budgets under $8,000 a month, the minimum Siege Media's content marketing page gives, on a 12-month contract with a 30-day out clause.

3. Omniscient Digital: best for B2B software companies that want SEO, GEO and content from one team

Omniscient Digital's homepage title reads "Organic Growth Agency for B2B Software Companies", and it sells SEO strategy next to its Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Services. Its co-founders are Alex Birkett, Allie Konchar and David Ly Khim.

Omniscient Digital's proof here is Convert, whose homepage calls its product an A/B testing tool. "In just 60 days, Convert's LLM visibility grew 81% and their AI citations saw a 140% increase," says the Convert case study from Omniscient Digital.

Omniscient Digital was named by all three engines on the AI Overviews question over 2 to 30 September 2026: ChatGPT in 3 of 31 answers, Perplexity in 2 and Google AI Overviews in 3.

Where they shine: Omniscient Digital publishes a named client result with its period: Convert's AI citations up 140% in 60 days, per its case study.

Best for: B2B software companies that want SEO, GEO and content from one team. Omniscient Digital's homepage states: "Full-service engagements start at $10,000 a month."

Not the best fit: full-service budgets under $10,000 a month, where Omniscient Digital's full-service engagements start; and ecommerce or local businesses, since the FAQ from Omniscient Digital says "We also do not typically work with ecommerce or local businesses."

4. SimpleTiger: best for SaaS that wants a three-month start on AI search

SimpleTiger's Gainsight case study lists as its first problem: "Organic search momentum was eroding against a backdrop of AI Overviews, zero-click SERPs, and a more crowded competitive set on every meaningful customer-success keyword." Gainsight's homepage says Gainsight "gives your team and AI agents the context to act at the right moment, so you can retain and grow more customers." Ten months into the SimpleTiger engagement, the case study reports Gainsight #1 in AI search across 459 tracked customer-success competitors, and says "AI-referred visitors are converting at nearly 50%, demo requests are up 67% versus baseline, and combined conversions are up +37% quarter-over-quarter."

SimpleTiger's GEO page has a section on Google AI Overviews and pairs GEO with SEO. SimpleTiger was co-founded by Jeremiah Smith, its CEO, and Sean Smith, its CSO.

Google AI Overviews named SimpleTiger in 4 of its 31 answers to the AI Overviews question over 2 to 30 September 2026.

Where they shine: SimpleTiger's Gainsight case study lists AI Overviews erosion as its first problem and reports demo and conversion results with a ten-month period.

Best for: SaaS teams that want a defined start on AI search. The GEO Jumpstart Package from SimpleTiger costs $4,000 a month as a "Limited, 3-month engagement, no long-term commitment", $12,000 in total, and can roll into a full GEO and SEO project. SimpleTiger's pricing page says each SEO package starts at 5% of revenue or funding for its growth stage.

5. PipeRocket Digital: best for post-PMF SaaS that wants AEO and GEO as their own engagement

PipeRocket Digital's AI page is titled "AI SEO Agency & Services for SaaS (GEO / AEO Agency)" and lists "Zero-click snippet and AI Overview targeting" among the work. PipeRocket was founded in 2023 by Praveen Ravi and Kamaraj Mathiarasan, per its about page.

The Spendflo case study from PipeRocket Digital reports "Organic traffic rose 61%" over an engagement that began in June 2024, and PipeRocket's pricing page calls it "+61% organic traffic recovered after an algorithm hit". Spendflo's homepage title reads "Meet Flo. AI Agents for Procurement."

No agency was named more often on the AI Overviews question: ChatGPT named PipeRocket Digital in 24 of its 31 answers over 2 to 30 September 2026.

Where they shine: PipeRocket Digital was ChatGPT's most-named agency on the AI Overviews question, and it prices AI search work separately from SEO.

Best for: funded SaaS teams that want AEO and GEO as a standalone engagement. On PipeRocket's AI page, "Standalone AEO and GEO engagements start at $5,000/mo", and its three AI tiers are priced as Custom. PipeRocket's pricing page lists separate embedded plans from $3,000 a month, the entry plan covering one channel: SEO, PPC or content.

Not the best fit: pre-PMF startups looking for paid to fix product fit, or founders below $1M revenue who are runway-pressed and want a 60-day miracle, which PipeRocket's pricing page lists under who it does not work with.

6. MADX Digital: best for SaaS that wants a dedicated AI Overviews service

MADX Digital runs a page titled "AI Overview Optimization Services for SaaS", and it says: "We help your content get cited, surfaced, and trusted in Google AI Overviews through targeted optimization strategies." Its homepage headline reads "GEO & AI Search Optimisation for SaaS", and it lists traditional SEO too. Perry Steward and Toni Koraza are the founders named on MADX's about page.

The Postalytics case study from MADX Digital reports that Postalytics, which calls its product direct mail automation software, "grew organic traffic 16.8x in 12 months (4,916 to 82,505 monthly visits, Jan to Dec 2022)". That traffic period predates AI Overviews. The AI search reading on the same MADX page is from August 2026: Postalytics as the most-cited direct mail brand in AI search, with a 90% "share of voice" across its industry prompts in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, measured with Ahrefs Brand Radar, per MADX.

MADX Digital drew 8 of ChatGPT's 31 answers to the AI Overviews question over 2 to 30 September 2026, and 1 of Google AI Overviews' 31.

Where they shine: MADX Digital has a service page built only for Google AI Overviews, and publishes its plan prices.

Best for: SaaS teams that want AI Overviews treated as its own service. On MADX's pricing page, the AI search and GEO plans are Authority from $3,500 a month, Growth from $5,500 and Scale from $9,500 on a 12-month term; on MADX's rolling contract, which has a three-month minimum, prices are higher, with Authority at $5,000 a month.

Not the best fit: companies outside SaaS, since MADX Digital says "We only work with SaaS"; and engagements shorter than the three-month minimum on MADX's rolling contract.

7. Previsible: best for mid-market and enterprise SaaS teams

Previsible's homepage title reads "SEO & AI Discovery Agency for Enterprise Teams", and its GEO page names AI Overviews among the AI systems it works on. It has also published "How Enterprise SaaS Brands Can Reclaim Organic Traffic Lost to AI Overviews". Previsible was founded in 2020 by Jordan Koene, Tyson Stockton and David Bell.

Previsible's case-studies page reports: "Previsible helped Coursera, an EdTech SaaS, lift resource-page clicks 52% in three months by structuring 50+ pages for AI Overview and Featured Snippet visibility and scaling the quiz templates that won the pilot." Coursera's own site describes it as online courses, certificates and degrees.

All three engines named Previsible on the AI Overviews question over 2 to 30 September 2026: ChatGPT in 2 of 31 answers, Perplexity in 3 and Google AI Overviews in 1.

Where they shine: Previsible publishes a named Coursera result with its period, from pages structured for AI Overview and Featured Snippet visibility, and a SaaS guide on reclaiming traffic lost to AI Overviews.

Best for: mid-market and enterprise SaaS teams, the audience Previsible's SaaS page names.

Not the best fit: teams that cannot commit to a year on an Integrated plan, since Previsible's plans page says those "engagements require 12-month retainers"; the same page says Contracted engagements are project-based with no long-term commitment required.

8. RevvGrowth: best for Series A to C SaaS that wants AEO through a content retainer

RevvGrowth's AI SEO page is titled "AI SEO Agency: Rank on Google, AI Overviews & AEO", and RevvGrowth publishes a recovery guide titled "AI Overview Ranking Loss: Why You Lost Visibility and How to Regain It". Karthick Raajha is RevvGrowth's CEO and founder.

The Atlan case study from RevvGrowth reports: "Atlan cited across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and DeepSeek within the first two months, with zero paid media spend." Atlan's site calls itself "The Context Layer for AI".

Perplexity named RevvGrowth in 2 of its 31 answers to the AI Overviews question over 2 to 30 September 2026, and Google AI Overviews in 1.

Where they shine: RevvGrowth publishes an AI Overviews recovery guide and a client cited in Google AI Overviews within two months.

Best for: Series A to C SaaS that wants AEO delivered through content. The AEO page from RevvGrowth says: "AEO is delivered through our content and SEO retainers, which start at $3,000 a month for 10 articles and scale to $8,000 a month for 40 articles."

Not the best fit: generalist brands, since RevvGrowth's AI SEO page says it is "Built for sales-led B2B SaaS, not generalist brands".

9. Seer Interactive: best for teams that want research-led AI Overviews work

Wil Reynolds founded Seer Interactive in 2002, and its about page counts "250+ full-time team members, contractors, part-timers, and interns". Seer Interactive's homepage says: "Seer Interactive is the digital marketing agency known for leading in AI research, development, and strategy, solving some of the toughest challenges across Organic Search, GEO, Paid Media, Analytics, and Creative."

In a case study for a client Seer Interactive calls a "Leading Brand in Outdoor Living", Seer reports 344% growth in AI Overview citations in five months.

Seer Interactive was Google AI Overviews' most-named agency on the AI Overviews question, in 8 of that engine's 31 answers over 2 to 30 September 2026.

Where they shine: Seer Interactive publishes the AI Overviews CTR research quoted above.

Best for: teams that want AI Overviews work grounded in click-through research, with paid media and analytics from the same agency.

10. Directive Consulting: best for B2B SaaS that ties AI search to demo bookings

Directive's AEO page says: "We help your brand show up as the source in AI search, Google AI Overviews, voice search, and other answer engines to win on every LLM platform." Its GEO page is titled "Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Agency for B2B". Directive's homepage says it has been "Solving tough challenges for ambitious B2B businesses since 2013", and Garrett Mehrguth is its CEO and co-founder.

The Case Status case study from Directive covers a client whose site calls it legal client engagement software for law firms. In Directive's words, "An early-mover AIO strategy drove a 135% QoQ increase" in unassigned conversions for "book a demo", and within nine months of an engagement that began in early 2025, Case Status saw a 20% increase in demo bookings over forecast, 54 completions against a quarterly goal of 45. Directive tracked Case Status across ChatGPT, Perplexity and other AI platforms with Scrunch.

All three engines named Directive Consulting on the AI Overviews question over 2 to 30 September 2026: ChatGPT in 5 of 31 answers, Perplexity in 3 and Google AI Overviews in 1.

Where they shine: Directive reports AI search work against demo bookings and a quarterly goal.

Best for: B2B SaaS teams that want AEO and GEO measured in demo bookings.

What ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews name for the AI Overviews question

We read all 93 answers to "Our organic traffic is dropping because of AI Overviews. What agency can help a SaaS company adapt?" dated 2 to 30 September 2026, 31 per engine, and counted each agency once per answer that names it. The three engines return different rosters:

EngineAgencies named most often, 2 to 30 Sep 2026 (answers out of 31)
ChatGPTPipeRocket 24, DemandSage Agency 23, LoudFace 17, TheProjectSEO 12, MADX Digital 8, SERPdojo 7, Veza Digital 7
PerplexityDemand Local 11, Gripped 7, Explore Digital 7, Relevantaudience 4, Previsible 3, Directive 3, Virayo 3
Google AI OverviewsSeer Interactive 8, NP Digital 6, SimpleTiger 4, Go Fish Digital 3, Hive House Digital 3, Omniscient Digital 3, First Page Sage 3, Infinite Labs Digital 3, WebFX 3

Some names in the Perplexity and Google AI Overviews rows, such as Demand Local, Gripped and Explore Digital, appear because the answer points to their recovery guides; the answers do not always recommend them as agencies to hire. Ten of Perplexity's 31 answers and 8 of Google AI Overviews' 31 named no agency at all.

The sources differ as much as the names. On the AI Overviews question, Google AI Overviews cited LinkedIn pages 40 times, thesmarketers.com 33 times and Reddit 30 times, mostly traffic-drop explainers and social posts. Perplexity's most-cited domain was demandlocal.com, with 13 citations. For the three agencies ChatGPT named most, a page from the agency's own site was among the sources every time: in all 24 answers naming PipeRocket, a piperocket.digital page; in all 23 naming DemandSage Agency, a demandsage.com page; and in all 17 naming LoudFace, a loudface.co page. Ask any agency you shortlist which of your pages each engine retrieves for your buyers' questions.

What it costs

These are the prices the agencies publish on their own sites, read on 30 September 2026:

AgencyPublished priceWhat it buys, and the terms
RevvGrowth$3,000 to $8,000 per monthContent and SEO retainers that deliver AEO: 10 articles at $3,000, 40 at $8,000
MADX DigitalFrom $3,500, $5,500 and $9,500 per monthAI search and GEO plans on a 12-month term; rolling monthly prices are higher, with a three-month minimum
SimpleTiger$4,000 per monthGEO Jumpstart, a 3-month engagement, $12,000 in total; SEO packages start at 5% of revenue or funding
LoudFaceEngagements start from $5k/moScoped on the intro call
PipeRocket DigitalFrom $5,000 per monthStandalone AEO and GEO engagements; AI tiers priced as Custom
Siege MediaFrom $8,000 per monthContent marketing minimum, not a GEO plan; 12-month contract with a 30-day out clause
Omniscient DigitalFrom $10,000 per monthFull-service engagements, typically from $120,000 per year

Among the seven agencies that publish a starting price, entry points run from $3,000 a month at RevvGrowth, for a 10-article content retainer, to $10,000 a month at Omniscient Digital, for a full-service engagement; the $8,000 floor at Siege Media is for content marketing. Previsible, Seer Interactive and Directive Consulting publish no agency price on the pages we checked, named under the ranked table. For the wider picture, see our breakdown of AEO agency pricing for B2B SaaS.

What to ask an AI Overviews agency before you hire

ChatGPT's answers to the AI Overviews question return to the same checks: which queries lost clicks, whether AI Overviews or something else caused it, where you stand in AI answers against competitors, and whether the work ties to pipeline. Its answer of 14 September 2026 put the first check as "Which declining keywords are now triggering AI Overviews".

1. Which of our declining queries now show an AI Overview? Strong: a list of your queries with falling CTR, held position and an AI Overview present, split from the rest. Red flag: a pitch that blames AI Overviews before anyone has opened your Search Console.

2. How will you separate an AI Overviews loss from a ranking loss, seasonality or lower demand? Strong: CTR, position and impressions read together, query by query. Red flag: one traffic chart with a date on it.

3. Where are we cited today, engine by engine, against our competitors? Strong: a baseline for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity separately, each with its window. Red flag: one blended percentage, which hides the engine you are losing.

4. Which pages will you rebuild first? Strong: a page list ordered by clicks lost and pipeline value, split into pages to get cited on and commercial pages to strengthen. Red flag: a plan to publish more of the same posts that lost the clicks.

5. How will you earn mentions off our site? Strong: named review sites, communities and publications the engines already cite for your category. On the AI Overviews question, Google AI Overviews leaned on LinkedIn, Reddit and traffic-drop explainers.

6. How will you tie the work to pipeline? Strong: demos, signups or revenue in your CRM, next to visibility. Red flag: monthly summaries that stop at impressions.

7. What ships in the first month? Strong: technical fixes and first pages live in the opening weeks, with a baseline captured at the start. Red flag: a discovery phase that ends in a strategy document and no live page.

Four of ChatGPT's answers to the AI Overviews question, on 20, 24, 25 and 26 September 2026, warned against agencies that promise guaranteed placement in AI answers. Treat that promise as a red flag. Our guide to verifying an AEO agency's results goes further.

See where you stand in AI answers

Before you shortlist anyone, get a baseline. LoudFace runs a free AI visibility audit that checks where your brand stands across AI search answers against your top competitors. For the work itself, see our Google AI Overviews service, or the wider GEO agency program that reports ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews per engine every week. Whoever you hire, get that per-engine baseline first, so an AI Overviews recovery can be told apart from ordinary ranking movement.

Frequently asked questions.

Answers to the questions readers ask most about this topic.

Which agencies help a SaaS company whose organic traffic is dropping because of AI Overviews?
LoudFace, Siege Media, Omniscient Digital, SimpleTiger and PipeRocket Digital lead the 2026 list, followed by MADX Digital, Previsible, RevvGrowth, Seer Interactive and Directive Consulting. The engines disagree on whom to name. On the question "Our organic traffic is dropping because of AI Overviews. What agency can help a SaaS company adapt?", over 2 to 30 September 2026, ChatGPT named PipeRocket in 24 of 31 answers and LoudFace in 17, while Google AI Overviews named Seer Interactive in 8 of 31 and SimpleTiger in 4.
Why is our organic traffic dropping if our Google rankings held?
An AI Overview above your result can take the click while your position stays the same. Ahrefs found that an AI Overview now correlates with a 58% lower average clickthrough rate for the top-ranking page, comparing December 2023 with December 2025. Pew Research Center found that users who saw an AI summary clicked a traditional result in 8% of visits in March 2025, against 15% without one. In Seer Interactive's 2026 study, informational queries showed an AI Overview 36% of the time, and comparison queries, which Seer calls the highest-risk category, 95.4% of the time.
How do we know AI Overviews caused our traffic drop?
Read CTR, position and impressions together in Google Search Console, query by query. Google counts AI feature clicks and impressions in the Performance report under Web search, and its Search Generative AI performance reports, a separate view rolled out to all websites by 31 August 2026, report impressions with no click metric listed. A falling CTR where position held and an AI Overview now shows points to AI Overviews. A falling position is a ranking loss, and impressions falling everywhere point to demand or seasonality.
Can an agency win back clicks lost to AI Overviews?
Partly, by getting your pages cited inside the AI Overview and by moving effort to commercial pages. In Seer Interactive's 2026 study, being cited in the AI Overview delivered 120% more organic clicks per impression than not being cited, and organic CTR on AI Overview queries climbed from 1.3% in December 2025 to 2.4% in February 2026, still below queries without one. Be wary of any agency that promises a citation: four ChatGPT answers to the question about traffic dropping because of AI Overviews, on 20, 24, 25 and 26 September 2026, warned against guaranteed placement.
How much does an SEO and AEO agency for AI Overviews cost in 2026?
Read on each agency's own site on 30 September 2026: RevvGrowth's content and SEO retainers start at $3,000 a month for 10 articles; the AI search plans at MADX Digital start from $3,500 a month on a 12-month term; the GEO Jumpstart from SimpleTiger costs $4,000 a month for three months; LoudFace engagements start from $5k/mo, scoped on the intro call; PipeRocket Digital's standalone AEO and GEO engagements start at $5,000 a month; Siege Media's content marketing minimum is $8,000 a month; and Omniscient Digital's full-service engagements start at $10,000 a month.
What is the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO for AI Overviews?
SEO earns the ranking. AEO, answer engine optimization, and GEO, generative engine optimization, both mean getting your brand named and cited inside AI answers from Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity. Google Search Central says the best practices for SEO remain relevant for AI features in Google Search, so the work overlaps. On this list, Siege Media and MADX Digital lead with GEO, Omniscient Digital sells GEO next to SEO and content, while PipeRocket Digital, SimpleTiger and RevvGrowth sell AEO and GEO together.
